The First Annual Superfluot Awards
It’s time! Let’s award the Superfluot Awards for 2009! I’ve had my thinking cap on for days, and I’m ready. This prestigious award won’t go to everyone, so only a few will be awarded. I may include a few honorary awards for great marketers who don’t compete in quite the same way.
The Emcee
Sadly, Matthew McConohayhayhay couldn’t make it, and neither could our second choice, Larry the Cable Guy’s mother. I will be hosting this event myself. If you’d like to apply for next year,
be my guest.
How the Superfluot Winners Were Chosen
Basically, for this first annual award ceremony, I chose the winners based on my past interaction with them. Translation: If I bought something from them or signed up for their list, and are related to MLM/Network Marketing, they are more likely to get an award.
On with the awards…
By the way, these categories need better names. Feel free to suggest some.
Superfluot #1: Cracking the egg of funded proposals
And the Award goes to: Mike Dillard, for Magnetic Sponsoring and MLM Traffic FormulaIf you haven’t read Mag Spon, as I like to call it, get one now. Very good basic information on how marketing in general works, and the network marketing business in particular. And his stuff is everywhere. Also, I like BetterNetworker.com.
Superfluot #2: For the most comprehensive program in the field
And the award goes to: Ann Sieg, for The Renegade Network Marketer, The Attraction Marketing Manifesto, and Renegade University.I bought from Ann when she was in Leaders’ Club, and loved her writing. While not as hard hitting as Mike, she explains more and provides great breakdowns of how things work, and she sells like crazy.
Superfluot #3: Best new program!
A round of applause for Deagan Smith! I haven’t bought this one yet, his Power Prospecting System, but he has a great energy, and I have read many of his articles. He obviously has the Tenacity to make it big, and is doing it as we watch. Keep it up Deagan.
Superfluot #4: For the best Anti-program…
Give it up for Jared J. Prazen, author of incredible and high-selling, “The Coffee House Letter” that tells about the benefits of get paid today systems, or GPT, with the system Carbon Copy Pro.I have read the letter, and been on a list a couple of times to check this one out. It has the makings of a high paying business opportunity, and obviously people love it. That’s it for the full awards. Now for some honorable mentions.
Honorable Mention
Business partners Ferny Cevallos and Ray Fong, for their SEO Networker and other products. I have to say, these guys reach for the stars. I haven’t seen anything under $100 from them.
Lifetime Marketers Award
I won’t give this out every year, but for this year, I wanted to give one to Dr. Ken Evoy. Ken has worked for the last several years to change the attitude of the MLM community to one of more professionalism and greater understanding of how real business works. Ken Evoy first achieved success online many years ago, and one of his early products, Make Your Site Sell 2002 was a huge success that many of today's internet marketers relied on to get started. His Site Build It! Or SBI! Hosting and business building system for any online business has been my greatest find, and hosts this site. Thanks Ken! Ken couldn’t make it to our event to accept his award, as he’s working on his tan in Anguilla.
Lifetime Creativity Award
Like the award above, this one will not happen often, but a very wacky genius deserves one this year, along with his killer bunnies:Dean Hunt, of the killer bunny blog (not the official name) and the Buzz Marketing system. He gives more away free than most marketers ever learn. I found Dean a year or two ago explaining how he hit the first page of Digg with a silly article about failure. Genius, twisted genius. I am happy to have been a student of his for some time, and honor him with this great award. Every time I see a bunny, I imagine it with fangs and remember Dean Hunt. Good work!
Thank You for Attending…
That’s if for the first annual Superfluot Awards! I hope you enjoyed yourself, and will come back. Please send any suggestions for future winners to me and I’ll compile them and have another award ceremony. And if you know of any great after parties, let me know…
