Your Home Business Opportunity: 5 Reasons to Go Big

Struggling with your home business opportunity? Maybe it's because you think too small. I have found that when I go big, good things happen.

Below, I have written up five reasons why and how you should consider going bigger instead of smaller, to get your business really moving. It doesn’t have to be that hard, either.

Reasons to Go Big

1. Going small often means staying small.

When you think you have a small business idea, it's often because you haven't looked at how big it can be, or because you don't want to be responsible for that much work.

Take heart. You can be big and still be just you. Recently, producers marveled that Sidney Poitier arrived for a major appearance alone. He was everything you expect – poised, prepared, dignified, but not full of himself.

He was big, but not puffed up. You can do great things, too, without losing yourself and what you love the most.

2. In business, you need a Big Option

In many MLM home business opportunities and non-MLM, you often think your products have to be bargain basement or at least low priced.

Open your mind to another way to see it. I have sold by the case. I know others who sell one of everything in their line as a starter kit. I know of (and am part of) opportunities with price points in the high hundreds…

And in the thousands…

And even in the tens of thousands.

Going big means that you can help the beginner, but you also have something for the top of the line.

If you are in an MLM home business opportunity, or your own business, think about ways to serve the top end of the market. It can be very lucrative.

Instead of a thousand sales, you only have to make one or a handful.

3. Marketing and Recruiting the Top Talent

Going big here can set you apart. Now don't get me wrong; don't go hire the most expensive ad agency. But maybe using a good one is less expensive than doing it yourself, because they are more effective.

And for recruiting, think about what you want to accomplish. Recruiting one person is great, but how many people do you need to achieve your goals for real?

When you build a plan to reach high goals, you often will achieve more than you ever thought you could.

4. Make the Big effort and get the Big results

Tony Robbins often says to take massive action. To me, that means do pretty much everything you can do to make something happen, to make a dream a reality.

Let's scale that down just a bit for your home business opportunity. Maybe you can't do everything right now, due to time, or money or health or whatever.

But are you doing what you can? And just as important, are you doing what is most effective?

Get these two questions in line, and you can still go big. You can still progress and improve and grow your business.

Since I mentioned Tony Robbins, you might have heard his short biopics on Colonel Sanders, who started KFC, and Mr. Honda, who founded Honda, of course.

Neither of these two were in a great position to succeed, but both did, by doing what they could, and by being effective.

Both these stories are very inspiring, but I won't recount them right now. Look them up when you can.

Make the effort to do what you can, to be effective, and to keep working until you succeed.

5. Make a Big commitment to get Big help and support

I have made several runs at various home business opportunity ideas. You probably know how that works out – try, fail, move on.

Or more accurately, try, spend money, fail, spend money, move on to spend more money… 

But that's never happened to you, right?

So with me most recent businesses, I made a commitment. I decided I would stay with it until I knew how to work the business and I succeeded.

That was 3 years ago. And, ten months in, I failed. I had to start over again completely from scratch. That failure just had its second birthday, but I have since then succeeded.

I'm not Trump now, or anything like that, but I am succeeding, and I won't quit. Because people in my life know that, they help, and they understand that I am going to work on my business regularly. They even help now.

I can see now that I can do much more and take my success much higher. I have to be consistent, effective, and put in the effort.

And I have to go bigger.

You can do it, too. Work on your home business opportunity, and stay with it. Go Big.
