How to Get Free Targeted Web Traffic from 4 Great Sources
Getting free targeted web traffic doesn’t have to be difficult. And sometimes you don’t even have to pay for the sites. Let’s look at one more aspect of building traffic to your site or blog. The official name for this is content sharing, but you probably have heard it by other names. I’ll show you two types of content sharing methods, but several content sharing sites. On these sites, you can build your own thing. You have a small site on a bigger site that lets you put up tons of content. Google and Yahoo love these sites – they list very well in search results. And you can use them to send more prospects to your main site or to build a list, or whatever your goal is. Also, sign up below for my occasional ezine get a free ebook with many more traffic ideas. 1. The One Page Free Site
This group lets you build a little one page site. You can put ads on it and if it earns any money, you split it with the host. That’s why it’s called content and revenue sharing. The most well known of these are
Squidoo.com
, and
Hubpages.com
, two of the sources I said I’d share with you, but you’ll find many more if you look. Both of these receive millions of visitors every month, and many people have made them a business in themselves. I know of one woman who has over 90 lenses on Squidoo – their term for a one page site – and she earns several thousand a month doing this, and getting thousands of free targeted web traffic visitors. We should all be so lucky. But that’s the point. You can start right now and build a lens on Squidoo or a hub on Hubpages and have it up and running in 10 minutes. If you keep it fresh and add to it, it can do well in the search engines. It will get some traffic on its own, andif you link to your main blog or site from it, you will get more traffic there as well.
2. Free Blogs
You can set up a blog at
Blogger.com
, and
Wordpress.com
, (the site), or at
Livejournal.com
, and many more.As with the ones above, the search engines love these if you keep them fresh and add to them regularly. You can earn money doing this. I like to use the free blogs as a way to test ideas. You create a blog, add posts to it on a specific topic that you want to try out. See if you get traffic. Then, you can either build a regular stand alone blog, or you can continue with the free ones. Either way, you win.
Give it a Whirl
Go to these sites and try them out. All of the ones mentioned are free and will help you get MLM prospects if you are in the network marketing business, and free targeted web traffic no matter what business you like.
