. The formula isn't complex, just three important steps. Like any recipe, you have to do things in the a certain order and you get better as you do it. Let's look at each one.
1. Attract visitors You can do this any number of ways, but I’ll highlight a few for a peek inside the machine. Offline, visitors can be at a tradeshow, a store, or using the 3 foot rule, and you know how much fun that is. Online, visitors mean traffic. But that traffic doesn’t have to be to your own site. You now have available to you a range of sites. You can have your own channel on Youtube, a group and fan page on Facebook, Twitter, hubs and lenses, and a conventional site or blog, and many more internet locations to attract visitors to become free network marketing leads. You can also pay for visitors both online and off. Online, many people like to use pay per click ads, among others. 2. Build a list You need a crowd of people hungry for your products. You do this by offering help. Help with what? With whatever they need that you do well. In this step, you have to remember that the more you give, the more you will get later. When people visit your site to get something you offer for free, you capture their information. This builds you a list of raw free network marketing leads. Use your imagination here. You can give almost anything that your customers - or future customers - need and want. One great online marketer, Eben Pagan, says to give away your best advice. Most great marketers will tell you to always make it a trade, free item for contact information. A quick note of experience here. After you offer something of value, you'll know if people like it if they sign up for it. No sign ups, they don't like it. More sign ups, more links to your site means people like it. On to the next step... 3. Build a relationship For the people on your list to buy from you, they will need to trust you. The will need a relationship with you in some form. You can automate this with your emails and your autoresponder. Also, you can listen to their feedback and use it to improve. You want to become real to them, so that they know you and want to do business with you. This step means a lot. Without a relationship, you won’t get far, even on the internet. When the people on your list know you care, you will get much more commitment from them. 4. Market to your list You've built a list and its growing. You've built your traffic and people can find you. Now you get your reward, and you get it over and over again. You sell to your list. Don’t go to the well too often, though. Have you ever been on a newsletter list and expected a couple of emails here and there, but instead you get one every day? It tires you out to get that many. Now if the email had great content, it might be okay, but if you just pitch a new product all the time, people will unsubscribe. You have to respect them and offer them things that bring real help for them. If you do that, you can occasionally ask if they want to know more about your opportunity. Putting it all together In reality, you will do the first three all the time. And soon after you have a list, you will do number four regularly as well. The keys I have found to getting this to work are providing a valuable service for my visitors, who then become free network marketing leads. Put them first.
