Remember the last time you succeeded? Maybe you earned a good grade on a test, played a musical piece nearly perfectly, or had a great game. Remember that feeling, and let’s get started.

The Keys

1. Industry

You have to like the business. By this I mean you should like working with health foods, or with financial products, or what ever it is.

If you like the business, working will be that much easier. The best MLM company for you may be in candles, or an internet MLM company. Be somewhat flexible here so you can evaluate the opportunities you find.

2. People

The people you will work with at company meetings and other gatherings affect your satisfaction. Of course, you can build a team, and earn money nationally from a large group. The people you bring in will reflect your attitude more than those already in the company.

Still, if you don’t feel comfortable at the events, you may want to keep looking.

3. Place

This one I’ll only mention. Mainly, you will work on your own. If the company has a regular place of business or hast it’s headquarters at a distance or in another country, you might want to reconsider.

4. Community

I consider this one the most important along with #1. A community can help you succeed when nothing else works. Do you have friends in the organization who will work with you? Does the company support a community aspect to help people to work together?

When you need information, help, leads, or just more motivation, a community can provide it. If you and I work in the same MLM company, then we need to encourage each other and help each other succeed.

This aspect of the best MLM company seems also to be the most elusive. Many companies have good products, good people and so on, but only very few have a real community that will assist them to succeed.

If you will come in with a huge number of people or you have already been an MLM success in the past, don’t worry as much. But if you haven’t been a success in MLM, this element is critical.

5. Training

In the best MLM companies, training falls under community and you get it free or nearly free. In others, you have spend big bucks for training.

Of course, you want to be in the companies that offer low cost and free training and advice on network marketing.

6. Practices

How does the company conduct itself? Can you find serious lawsuits or state agencies with questions and problems?

The best MLM company for you will last for a long time, not get hung up in court or other problems. Look for a company with a good customer retention policy that helps you do your job.

7. Pay Plan

You can spend all day on pay plans, but don’t. A good one is fairly easy to understand and will earn great money without thousands of people.

Watch for those items, and avoid binaries and forced matrices. Binaries seem to never earn what the company says due to the weak leg. Forced matrices have a different problem. In some cases, all that promised spillover can look like you won a lottery with no work, like gambling but without a license. Some regulators don’t like this.

Use Common Sense

If you find you disagree with me on one of these items, I understand. Don’t sweat it. If the opportunity is right, maybe this is the best MLM company for you. If it’s legal and ethical, give it a go and do your very best to succeed.

You should also give some thought to how you will market yourself. Even though part of MLM is always marketing, many people never spend any time thinking about it. You probably won’t get far on free MLM leads, so marketing will be very important.
